NECC Web 2.0 Information

A number of sessions here have been devoted to using Web 2.0 in various ways. These have included Joyce Valenza's Library Tools Smackdown and ISTE's NECC SIGMS.

A Great day at NECC

Started the day with Jamie McKenzie who will be our CECA/CASL conference keynote speaker. His morning session "Beyond Mere Gathering" focused on collaboration and synergy. Got several ideas about how to "really cook." A cool tool that he used was the Visual Thesaurus and I learned that I want to be a flaneur in my retirement. It means one… Continue

What a challenging model!

I just read Joyce Valenza's 12 page year-end-report. Incredible! Do you think she has cloned herself to be able to do all that?!!!

Read her blog which gives a link to her report as well as links to two other HS reports. There is a wealth of ideas for high school programs.
